When KGRN suddenly ended local radio news in May 2024, our community faced a communication void that threatened to disconnect us from the stories that matter most. Rather than accept this silence, the Grinnell-Newburg School Foundation (GNSF) stepped forward with something powerful: the We Belong Here podcast, hosted by the Tiger Sports Live Stream Network’s Dan Walker. This media platform amplifies the authentic voices of our students, educators, and alumni, proving that when we invest in our schools, we invest in stories worth telling. Each episode reveals the transformative power of public education and celebrates the connections, achievements, and lasting impact that define our district.
Listeners may tune in weekly to hear inspiring stories and stay connected with the latest developments in the Grinnell-Newburg School District.
When you invest in GNSF, you’re not just supporting today’s students and teachers—you’re ensuring that the stories we tell on We Belong Here continue to be stories of triumph, innovation, and community strength. Together, let’s make sure every student and educator in our district knows they truly belong here, and that our support will always be there to help them thrive.
